Holy Trinity High School is a community of faith, hope, and love where we seek to educate the whole student: in mind, heart, soul, and in body. Our outstanding faculty and campus ministry educates and motivates students in the pursuit of truth and academic excellence, preparing each for future educational opportunities, and to serve the Church and the world. Our diverse student population brings unique talents and perspectives, helping each student become the best version of themselves. Holy Trinity is a place where you will live and learn in the company of others who will raise your standards, remind you of your essential purpose, and challenge you to become your best self.
Holy Trinity’s mission statement calls on us to be living witnesses to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We celebrate our faith as a family and give all students opportunities to participate in the school’s apostolic mission. From Freshman Faith Day to the Senior LIGHTS program, Holy Trinity students consistently engage in their faith. Daily Mass, retreats, volunteer trips, mission and food drives allow students to both develop and live their faith on a daily basis.
Holy Trinity’s rigorous college-preparatory curriculum challenges all students to reach their individual potential in a traditional Catholic setting. At Holy Trinity, students are recognized for their unique skills, interests and abilities. Their academic programs are developed to both meet their specific needs as well as encourage them to strive for personal excellence. Our curriculum offers students a broad selection of AP and college courses, as well as a diverse array of electives. Our programs in performing arts, STEM, and visual arts contribute to a well-rounded student population by offering students multiple opportunities to engage their creativity, explore new ideas, and promote abstract thinking.
In addition to a challenging academic curriculum, Holy Trinity offers a wide selection of extra-curricular activities and interscholastic athletics. More than 70% of our students compete on one or more of our 42 freshman, junior-varsity and varsity teams. Holy Trinity’s athletic teams provide opportunities for all students to compete and are consistently among the most competitive on Long Island. Our after-school programs include a wide range of activities such as Science Olympiad, Cartooning Club, Mock Trial, Yearbook, Volunteer Club, Stage Crew, Music Ministry, World Cultures Club, Jazz Band, and many more.
Holy Trinity students succeed! The Class of 2017 graduates boasted a 100% college acceptance rate and were offered more than $37 million in scholarships. Holy Trinity is accredited by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York and by AdvancED.
